Life gets harder and harder

As you may have noticed, there haven't been any posts in the past time, and that is for the sole reason that, to make it short, I'm back to school, my best friend returned from abroad, I have a new girlfriend that consumes a lot of time and apart from that I've got a new work... and ON TOP of that I've been going to the Oktoberfest in Munich a lot lately. Which means, in the time that im not busy working or keeping up social contacts, I've either been exhausted and/or shitfaced.

So as you can see, I actually have a valuable excuse for not continuing this blog.. and thats right, I'm shutting this down, once and for all. It's been nice sharing my opinion with you guys and hearing yours in return, but currently, I don't have the least bit of time left for writing this.

So, it has been a wonderful time and I wish you the best of luck, but I am outta here.

Quick Update

Had way too much to do the last few days, I just wanted to tell you guys that there will be some big new posts soon.

Also, the integral medicine actually DID work, at least it did for me!

Because I haven't got enough time to write a real post just now, I'd like to give you some compensation.
Pursuing the Trivial is a nice brand-new blog, written by someone who really knows how to make you read his posts and I have the feeling that very soon it will be quite popular. So be one of the first to see it!

Integral medicine - Yes or No?

So, turned out that I currently suffer from having a cystitis - or, in other words, pissing hurts.
After taking a sh*tload of antibiotics I still wasn't able to get rid of it - and just today my doctor advised me another form of treatment - integral medicine. I'm supposed to take 3 pills everyday and drink lots and lots of tea and water... But I'm still kinda confused. How come Antibiotics didn't help and these little wonder-pills are supposed to get me out of my misery in just 4 days?

I haven't got any experience with integral medicine, I just know enough of it to be aware that modern studies do not really show that those things really do help. So what do you guys think?
Should I close the deal and just take the damn things?
Looking the other way, I have nothing to lose - so why not?

Anyways, in a week or so I'll write another post to tell you guys whether it did help or not.
So stay tuned!

Entirely and totally bankrupt

Turns out this month's money won't show up so I'm left totally bakrupt, down and out.
I won't be starving, but it looks like I'll have to turn down the fun-factor quite a bit :(

Does anyone have any ideas on how to quickly make some good cash (Prostitution is NOT good cash)?
Help me Obi-Wan, you're my last hope!

Young Smokers?

I've been smooking since I was 15 years old, and always kind of thought "Man, I sure was young when I started smoking" and always thought of it as something kind of rebellious. But, yesterday, as I was walking through town minding my own business, I suddenly saw myself being approached by two little boys, about 12 years old. Although they were dressed kinda punky, you could see that they would have even made Justin Bieber look like an old man.
Anyways, they obviously saw me smoking and straight away asked me for a fire, and me, being the naive bastard I am, instantly thought "why would those little wannabe punks want a fire?"
After being caught totally off-guard when they pulled out a pack of Marlboro Menthols (baah), I asked them if they weren't too young to be smoking.
They just looked at me like sheep and like they never heard of smoking being illegal until you're 18, and I asked them politely to hand me their fags and fuck off.
Well, they did so, and I got rid of those nasty menthols.

So, was my reaction correct? Is it okay to stop those kids from smoking, although they will surely have bought another pack by now?
Or should I just accept that kids will always start smoking at younger and younger ages?

Mad Partying

Went drinking yesterday evening, had 5 beers, 1 bottle of schnapps and 7 or so drinks.

In the end I was too drunk to be able to use public transport aka subway, took the same line 4 times and always fell asleep until I arrived in the ultimate destination.
After that I arrived at home and slept until 4 in the morning, then took a shower.
Proceeded to go to work after having a drunk three-hour breakfast, spent 3 hours on the WC to browse the internet with my laptop. Returned to my place just in time for my boss to arrive, who then proceeded to commend me for my exemplay attitude to work. Win.

And now I will go my ways and drink even more.
Screw you, brain cells!!

My Brain has finally been melted

Today it's 40°C (104°F) where I live, and I've been working 8 hours nonstop in the top floor in the special-care home I'm working at this week with glorious lots of roofing cardboard right above my head.

What I look like after a hard day of work.

I feel like a deep-fried chicken wing and am sadly not capable to write anything more. I will now proceed to try and drown myself in the deep end of my bathtub.

The Joys of living in Bavaria

Well, as it turns out I'm broke like a joke, therefore shipping my ass overseas falls out of my possibilities.
But, did I know, going into vacation at home can be more than OK, too.

As it turned out, as soon as I got my sorry ass away from my computer and got outside, I realised that there are some really nice places in and around munich. Yesterday for example I went swimming in an extremely secluded lake just a few minutes away from a train station - an entire lake just for myself!

And after some swimming I had just enough time left to admire the countryside, but see for yourself:

The only problem with my part-time country vacation was some trouble with certain bloodsucking parasites - horse-flies. Killed at least a dozen of them trying to save myself from being sucked dry, but they still managed to get their share on some parts (itches like mad!). Apart from that, I can only recommend leaving the city for once and getting your share of country-goodness!

Anyways, here's one last picture for you guys.
It's the old city-hall in Munich, I didn't really do something in there recently, but I just think that it looks awesome. Munich is a beautiful city full of old buildings and several other places of interest, but also has a lot more to show, especially for all you guys who like to party!

So thank you very much for reading how I enjoy life, hehe :)
And I hope you guys will stay tuned, because in less than a month it's time for some motherf*ckin' OKTOBERFEST!!!!

Just some random thought to keep you guys interested

In all musical genres there is sh*tty, bad music - there is no particular genre that consists only of bad or good content. But, the more popular a genre or band is the worse is usually gets.

You have to be concentrated and keep yourself engaged with a certain kind of music, and no matter how bad you thought of that genre before, if you keep looking long enough, you will find something that you like.

I'm singing in the rain!

The weather hates me. It's the first day of acceptable temperatures here where I live and I come to the glorious idea: 'Hey, how about a Barbecue Party?'

So I call a few people, set up everything and we're ready to go. We begin, everyone's chilling out, it's hot, there's beer, meat, salad and cigarettes. But, god doesn't like my plans of enjoying the sun for at least one day - a thunderstorm comes.

At least we weren't thirsty anymore...

So while trying to get the BBQ-Set out of the rain I get my hands burned - and now I'm sitting here typing a new post on my blog with blistered fingers. Anyways - after spending the rest of yesterday evening trying to numb the pain by drinking more beer, I'm left sitting home alone on a rainy sunday afternoon with nothing to do.

I'm free for hugs now. Anyone?

Oh Internet, strengthen my wisdom!!

I come here with the burden of a question again, and sorry everybody, it's about my girlfriend again. *sigh women*

Thing is, I told her I don't like to see her getting drunk out of her mind, because we went out a few times, and from falling unconscious to being a total b*tch to me she did everything to make me say that I don't want her to go binge drinking. At first she said that it's okay for her and that she will stop getting too drunk.
But, yesterday, after she told me she would spend the evening at home, she instead met one of her older girlfriends and drank what would have been more then enough for both of us.

She told me she does not want to ask me for permission everytime she does something and I told her that she has given me more than enough reason to ask for some allegiance.

So after a bit of arguing we just came to the conclusion that I had to give her some free space and have to stop trying to 'control' her - although, in my opinion, I never ordered her to stop drinking, I just told her that I don't like seeing it, which she recklessly ignored.

Right now I feel a bit left out, like, as long as she is happy and can do whatever she wants to, my feelings are insignificant and of no importance. Kind of a sh*tty situation imho.

So what the f*ck am I supposed to do now?
Why the f*ck does this sh*t have to be so complicated?

Coffee - it's what I really need right now.

Awkward Situation

You those know those awkward situations, the kind of where you say something and instantly regret it?
I had one like those yesterday. Basically, I was sitting in a park with a few friends (a friend of mine, my girlfriend, 2 friends of hers and 2 chicks I did not know personally before) spending the time smoking, talking and drinking beer and wine (sounds sophisticated, huh?).

Anyways, after some drinks we somehow got to the topic of pedophilia - don't ask how we got there, a lot of alcohol was involved. Anyways, I pointed out that about 100 years ago, homosexuality was considered a crime and Gay People were executed and imprisoned for their sexual orientation. So I got to the conclusion that maybe 100 years from now, Pedos will be accepted in our society (I just want to point out right now that this is in no way what I would like to see, IMHO those sick f*cks can spend the rest of their lives in prison). Anyways, as soon as I said it, the 2 chicks I didn't know started talking things like "but homosexuals are still being oppressed in todays society" and "pedophilia is completely different from homosexuality", which I partly agree with, but later on it turned out that both those girls were lesbians.
Yeah, at that moment I was like "Oh Sh*t!" and must have looked really stupid.

So, do you guys have any awkward moments, other than comparing homosexuals to pedos while 2 activist lesbians are listening?

Feel free to write a comment.

Undeserved mistrust?

Today my girlfriend forgot her cellphone at my place, and ever since I found it I feel tempted to forage for something suspicious in it. Although we spent a load of time together and she would practically never be able to meet another guy and do something with him, I still wanted to skim through her messages and look through her facebook.

Well, I did not look through her messages and neither did I check her facebook. But why was I so tempted to do so? Am I really so distrustful?

Or is there any other reason for me to want to do something like this? Because I know, whether I find something suspicious or just some old messages from an ex-friend or if I don't even find anything, in none of these situations will I feel better than before.

So what does this mean? There's not a single reason for me to be afraid of her cheating on me, so why do I feel the need to check twice? Better be safe than sorry?
And I know that when I find something which is extremely unlikely I will feel justified for looking through her Phone, but if I look through it and don't find anything I will feel bad for being suspicious.

Help me, whats wrong with me??!

Children of the Sun

Let me tell you, living in Germany is a god damn mess. And it's not because you are always indirectly responsible for causing both World Wars, or because all of my hard-earned tax money wanders straight into the greek debt or israelian submarines. No, it's because of the god-damn weather.
FFS, it's supposed to be SUMMER over here and all I can see is that it has been raining for the last 2 weeks and that it's 12° Celsius outside.

Seriously, if this BS doesn't change within the next 3 weeks I will seriously consider just leaving the god damn country.

Amsterdam - Yes or No?

Don't know whether you guys have heard about it - but for the last few years you were legally able to buy Marijuana in so called "Coffee-Shops" in the Netherlands. But now a Law has been passed to prevent Tourists from being able to buy Weed there - it will come into effect this autumn.
And because I'd like to have a Piece of the Cake before its all over I'm planning to visit Amsterdam this Summer - but there's one problem - I'm really short on cash.

So I've been skimming through the Internet trying to find the cheapest way to get there and find the cheapest Hostel - and it looks like going to Amsterdam for 4 days would cost me at least 300€ - around 100€ for the bus to get there and back again and 25€ per night in the Hostel. Plus the Money I plan on spending for food etc...
I would literally be broke after this - so is this worth is?

4 Days of Amsterdam while it's still legal - but after it I'll be bankrupt.
Or just let it be?

What's your Opinion?

Amy Winehouse dead!!

 "Ehehehehehehehehe" - Peter Griffin

Finally that old skank kicked the Bucket, and no, I don't feel a bit of compassion for her or anyone related to her. Seventy-six People just died in Norway so I really don't feel any need to feel sad or anything for a stupid white-trash shrew that had more money than most of us do and got herself killed in the end.

Have a nice Weekend.

Love oh Love.....

Relationship problems, I guess we've all heard of them before, and I've always hated to read that kinda stuff anywhere, because I simply never had a relationship (forever alone?). But now (surprise surprise) I have a girlfriend and have one of those nasty problems myself...

Thing is, she is a bit older than me and therefore has a bit more experience than me, and, sadly, I envy her for being more experienced than me and therefore feel like an Idiot.
So what should I do now? I obviously have a huge problem with just ignoring it, because if I could, I wouldnt ask you guys for help...
So should I just leave her and try to sow my wild oat? But I don't want that, I want to be with her and not someone else.

Do you have any recommendations for me?

Also, I feel like a god damn Idiot for finally having a girlfriend and then destroying it all again by being a f*cking A**hole :(

The End of the Experiment

So that's it. I've made it through 5 days, Monday to Friday, partying on each and every one of them. Spent the last evening dancing in Munich's Kultfabrik, drank a lot and consumed some other things that were propably illegal - in short, I've done all the things you would usually ONLY do on weekends and did it throughout the entire week.

So do I feel better now? Or do I feel worse?
I think it's none of each. Of course, I felt pretty bad because of being ill for a few days, but that problem somehow solved itself (oh, the miracles of alcohol). I think I'm just gonna make a list, because that usually helps me think through stuff:

Positive:
-I've met a lot new Friends
-I have a girlfriend now
-That long lost feeling of rebellion

Negative:
-I feel really, really hungover, my body literally screams at me to stop drinking so much
-I lost my job (though I don't care really much since it sucked anyways)

So, afterall, going to parties each and everyday is great for socializing and for that good old, rebellious and adolescent feeling of "I don't f*ckin' care anyways", although you should watch out to not obviously act young if you're a bit older (because that just looks ridiculous), BUT you should not and must not in any way overdo it with this kinda behavior, some people can take it better than the other, but in the end, you will really just be hungover and will maybe lose something that means a lot to you...

So, I myself will now take a few days off partying this weekend, and then try and start into a normal life again.
Thanks for reading!

The Experiment - Day 4

Had a Buddy come over and drank a LOT of beer, like 4 liters each of us. After that I was like "Hey, I don't feel that bad anymore!", which was the worst decision of the day. Ended up going to a Bar with him and some other old friends, had even more Tequila.
Lurched back home in the morning, drank cough syrup and fell asleep.

Surprisingly I don't feel too bad, but maybe thats because I still feel pretty drunk. Stopped smoking since my throat feels like sandpaper. In the worst of moods. I'm propably going to drink even more today just so I can delay having to deal with the real world.

Now I'm going to get myself into bed, maybe everything will look better as soon as I get some sleep.

Cheers!

The Experiment - Day 3 (Sudden End?)

Went out to a Club and this time I can atleast remember what happened - stayed there drinking and dancing until 3 AM when we got kicked out. It was cold as f*ck outside, and since I forgot to take any Coat with me and I was covered in sweat I literally felt like freezing to death. Since there weren't any means of public transportation around and we didn't want to perish by cold me & my girl decided to take a taxi to the central station and wait there until we could take the train home. After some hours of sitting inside a Burger King Restaurant we finally made it home, and I just fell into bed and slept for a few hours straight.

In the morning I felt absolutely f*cking miserable, I wasn't hungover but my sinuses felt airtight and my tonsils swoll to the size of a grapefruit - time to see the doctor. Anyways, now I'm sitting here, taking antibiotics and telling my workplace that I'm still sick... I feel like this week is going to have a huge payback, but I don't care, I wanted to quit my job anyways.

Now I just wonder what I'm going to do in the evening, or if I can even carry on with this Experiment - maybe I'll just take a day off from partying. Propably I'll just have an old buddy come over and we'll spend the evening drinking a beer or two and smoking. Sounds healthy, huh?
Well, whatever happens - you guys will be the first to notice.

The Experiment - Day 2

Went to a House Party of some Guy I don't even know, actually I can't even remember where it was. Obviously drank way too much... the funny thing is, today I woke up in Bed with a girl I met at the party, but I can't remember how I got there. Anyways, we're planning to go out this evening to - guess what - go drinking.

Meanwhile I feel like the only thing that keeps me going is a combination of coffee, cigarettes and alcohol. Had to take a sip of whiskey in the morning to calm my stomach down, a weird feeling. It currently takes up my entire concentration just to be able to write this post...

Didn't go to work today, called in sick and luckily I don't have to go on Wednesday - it's my free day. Don't know whether thats good or bad, because when I know that I don't have to go to work I'm afraid I'm gonna overindulge myself and end up somewhere I don't want to be - but, well, this experiment has to be executed in its entirety.

Jul 18, 2011

The Experiment - Day 1

Today I started off with waking up at 3am in a train station after being out drinking with a few friends of mine, ended up going to a club on Sunday evening. Took a taxi home. After 4 hours of sleep I went to work being totally hungover and only had a coffee and a cigarette to calm me down...
After 7 Hours of horrible work I finally went to meet an old friend of mine, felt rejuvenated and fresh just after the first beer. Looks like I'll be out drinking today again. Smoked about half a pack of cigs just today.
Wish me Luck, I'll tell you how it went!

Smartphones - worth it?

For 3 years I've been totally content with my good old Sony Ericsson Cellphone, but it looks like being able to write messages and phone people isn't enough anymore -nowadays you obviously have to be able to be online on Facebook 24/7, access the Internet whenever you want to and play stupid Mini-Games (like Angry Birds or some of that bullsh*t) apart from having half a million apps running all the time.

Be unique - buy what everyone else has!

So I just thought to myself, "have to stay modern" and did a little research on how much I'd have to pay for being able to keep up with the trend - and holy Cow are people making a sh*tload of money with this business!
Well, I'm not doing a lot of money with my current job, but it can't be possible that i'd have to pay more than 3 months of salary to own a god d*mn working Smartphone?!
I think that especially in times like these when you can be sure that a new, high-end Gaming Computer will be outdated within a few months it's totally pointless to waste so much hard-earned cash just for having a little gadget that actually does nothing more than combining a Cellphone, a (bad) computer and a Gameboy, all of which I already have.
Of course, if I had rich parents I wouldnt write about this stuff like this, but seriously, in my opinion, I don't see any reason why I should pay for a little piece of plastic with an apple symbol on its back.
And Steve Jobs can go scr*w himself, that guy has more Money than most countries in Africa, and he's not the only Person in the world with an illness.

Just stay with your clumpy old piece of crap cellphone and don't give a sh*t about what people expect you to do. Trust me, in the end, no one will care, and if they do, they won't be worth your company.
Stay classy.

Feeling like a Lemming again?

You know that feeling, that when ever you wake up, you feel the same?
Get dressed, brush your Teeth, off to work, no brain cells needed?
Spending the week waiting for Friday?
Thats exactly the theme of my life for the past few weeks, but I am going to change this now.

I will try an experiment: Spending every day of the week like it was my last, e.g. go out partying, drinking, dancing and do whatever I desire just to see whether I feel more complete at the end of the week or if I'll just be totally hungover.

Stay tuned for the results!!

This Stuff grinds my Gears!

As you may have noticed before, I'm interested in going hunting, and therefore looked through a bit of the substance available on the web, and encountered some of the most hypocritic arseholes I've seen so far. Claiming to be "environmental activists", all they do is focus on how to denunciate Hunters and such. In total Ignorance of the fact that all the natural enemies of hunted animals are nearly extinct, so there are way too many red deer around nowaways which damage the wood and the livelihood of their offspring, they scream and yell as soon as someone shoots a deer.
Inhumane Hunting conditions, they yell.
Being shot into the heart which follows instant death in about 4-10 seconds is very inhumane, don't you think.
BUT going to eat at McDonalds, where millions and millions of farm animals are kept in mass stock, where they suffer until being slashed into small enough pieces to fit into a burger is A-OK!?
The bigotry of those r*tarded dissemblers instantaneously fires my Rage.
I hope you can understand my point.

Too much Information

In his world-famous bestseller 1984 George Orwell feared that the government will censor all news and media, only releasing news that are good for its reputation.
In my Opinion, the exact opposite is happening nowadays: We are getting flooded with information, so that nothing seems important anymore. Just think about it: A year ago, seemingly everyone was terribly upset about the oil-spill in the gulf of mexico, claiming it was one of the most dangerous natural disasters until then, and what then?
Right, everyone forgot about it.
Remember about 6 weeks ago?
Fukushima exploded, horrible atomic disasters, the end of the world as we know it.
And what are the important news today? The US managed to kill an old introverted man.
That seems so much more important than everything else happening nowadays.
All I want to say is, don't believe everything the media tells you.
Because they are just in it for the money.

This is for you guys believing Osama is still alive

Just think about it:
IF Osama REALLY was still alive, he would immediately show himself to the public, propably sending out fresh video tapes to all big media centers, because that would actually show AND prove that the american Government has lied to their citizens, and therefore shake the american belief in their own government, which would be exactly what Osama has always wanted!

Does Life make Sense?

I've been thinking a lot lately, and maybe it is because I am p*ss-*ss drunk atm, but I've come to the conclusion that life in its entirety does not make sense at all.
Think about it, for example the german that worked in the Gas-Chambers in one of the Nazi Annihilation-Camps, of course we all know he existed, he must have, but do we remember him? Do we know how he felt, did he enjoy it, did he feel remorse?
Do we know his name?
I think not.
No matter what we do, how gruesome it is, how wonderful it is, how necessary it is or how senseless it is, in less than 100 Years, everyone on earth will have forgotten us, our existance, everything, we will merely be a Name on a document in some dusty archive, on a forgotten computer.
There is no need to feel shame, to find work or to feel depressed because you can't find love.
Nothing matters.
We think we are the peak of creation (see Bible, Genesis), but we are not.
We are merely the blink of an eye in the life of the universe.

So does that mean that we can do what we want to do?
Because no matter what we do, no one will learn from it.
Think about it, the Second World War happened, never before have we killed so many of our own kind in such a short time, and one should think that Humanity would finally learn to do better, but no.
We still kill ourselves.
So what does it mean?
Is the sense of life to find a mating partner and reproduce as hard as we can?
What should we do?
Is some higher being watching us?
Propably not.
We like to think so.
We like to hope that sometime, somewhen everything will come to an end and we will go into paradise.
But that will not happen.

In my honest opinion, we are just a tiny fraction of the Universe. And we are very lucky to live in this time.
And the best thing we can do is to enjoy every day of peace we have left.
Because if we have learnt one thing from the past, then it is this:
War will come.
Humanity is the only being that does not learn from its mistakes.
War will come.
So live every day of your life like it was your last one.
Don't be afraid.

Peace.

Any good Tactic Shooters around nowadays? Any?

Back in the days, I was a vivid player of Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, and always loved the realistic approach towards ego-shooter gaming. Anyways, time has passed, and some time ago I found out about a sequel to the original OFP, which is called 'Dragon Rising'. Being the fool I am, I got lured into the marketing trap and bought it. Convinced of buying a 'realistic' Ego-Shooter worthy of its predecessor, these were the most needlessly spent 60€ I ever wasted.
The game sucks. Hard.
Apart from being able to shoot one of your Squaddies in the face just to make him say: "Stop! Friendly Fire!", the entire f*cking concept just f*cking blows! The mission objectives are callow (instead of friendly tanks waiting for you to eliminate the tank-destroyer threat, they mindlessly drive in and get killed -> mission failed -.-''), and the concept of the US Marine Corps taking on the entire f*cking chinese Army and come out victorious is ridiculous.
You are practically invincible while you run through enemy fire mowing down chinese cannonfodder, in the entire campaign of about 10 glorious missions you don't get to drive a single vehicle, apart from 5 minutes in a Helicopter and some Jeeps.
Multiplayer is horrendous, lags are killing off every single feeling of joy, dedicated servers are non-existant.
Some of you may now think 'Well, maybe some dedicated modder with a lot of free time can solve some of those Problems?'
Well, no. Modding does not exist. Codemasters denied the release of any modding tools.
And I sit here and ask myself: How can something like this happen?
Apart from ruining the awesome reputation that the Operation Flashpoint franchise had before, the developers sat infront of a practically under-nourished tactic-fps market and decided to make yet another CoD-clone with integrated tactical-bullsh*t-feature?
CM screwed up big time... actually I'm still pissed off at myself for being stupid enough to buy this 'game'...

Also, the graphics suck.

So, are there any tactic-fps around that are worth their money?

What if

what if one day you woke up and your nipples were completely gone
like no scars or anything, just flat skin
and then once you leave your room you find out your dad died last night
and then several days later, you find out that for your entire life your dad had been sneaking into your room while you slept
and sucking on your chest to make two gigantic hickeys where your nipples should be
because you were born without them
not for any sexual reason, just so you would fit in

god bless you dad

Going Hunting

I about two years, I'll be going into the wilderness (ha, I love how that sounds) to hunt and shoot a few deer. Now, I meet a lot of people who really have a problem with this, and I just don't get it. Where I come from, there are literally no wolves left, so the deer don't have any natural enemies left, despite us. So it's actually good for the forest if people went out and shot those animals.
And it's not even like I wouldn't respect the Animals I will shoot.
So what exactly is the problem people have with this?

Also, does anyone know if it's legally possible to go hunting with Bow & Arrow?

Shit

You know these weekends, that are like totally awesome and full of fun and partying, the ones that make life worth living, just to make you come home on sunday evening where your mother calls and tells you that your dad is in the hospital because of "something"?

Whereas "something" is somewhere between Heart Attack, Stroke and / or Brain Tumor.
Yeah something like this just happened to me.
F*ck.

Cubase LE 4 drives me crazy

Lately, I wanted to record some music with my computer. About a year ago, I bought the Digitech RP350 Modeling Guitar Processor, which had a free copy of Cubase LE 4 in it. I installed the program, registered it and everything worked fine, it even said my copy was "permanently activated". But, I wasn't able to record any music with it, so I just forgot about the whole thing.
Then, yesterday, I finally wanted to figure out what the heck was wrong with it. And now there's a new Problem with it: as soon as I want to start it, a pop-up says "Syncrosoft Protected Object Server stopped working", and then it says "Cubase LE 4 stopped working", and then it just closes itself. This happens out of nowhere, I haven't even opened the program in about half a year.
I googled the sh*t out of this, did everything anyone said, the official Steinberg response hasn't done anything at all, I reinstalled, cleaned registry, whatever the f*ck i could make up.
And it still doesn't work.

The ironic thing about this is that all the pirate copys I have work perfectly fine, and the ONE program I actually bought breaks down first.
And the only thought I have left now is for god's sake f*ck this shit

Funny Stuff

This is really funny, and I recommend it to anyone who ever played the original Pokemon. It's a commentary of a Vietnamese bootleg translation of the game "Pokémon Crystal".

I can't stop laughing!

Ai Weiwei - another victim of China's crimes against humanity

In western states, we enjoy something that seems almost banal to us - and thats Human rights. We can demonstrate against our own government without having to fear reprisals, we have the right to go to school, we have the right to go vote, we have the right to be judged fairly and without prejudice - or, in short, we have the right to live. Of course, not every state has the luxury to supply all its inhabitants with equal rights, but I want to talk about one state in special: China. With its 1,336,718,015 residents, it has more residents than any other state of the world. The allegedly communist state has long since been turning into a more and more capitalist system, explaing its massive economic Achievements in its last few Years. But, the chinese government is known for its totalist regime, suppressing their own People for almost a century. There have been many debates about human rights, but China doesn't allow anyone to talk about this topic. Censorship seems to be the biggest Weapon of the chinese Government. And anyone who doesn't obey, is put into prison.
Just like this man:

Ai Weiwei, a chinese Artist who is internationally known for his dissident artwork, has been arressted on Sunday in Peking, because he made artworks about the violation of human rights in his home, inhumane working conditions and the ecologic ignorance from the government.
For the denounciation of his Government he now has to serve his time in Prison, getting beat up by the Police and suffering horrible living conditions.

China has to change.

Decided to go all Bob-Ross-Style today and tried to make a Painting. Looks decent IMO.

Any Opinions?

Also, the old Poll is Finished, here are the results:

What do you think of Nuclear Energy?

We should keep it!

We should start using renewable Energy!
  6 (37%)

I want renewable Energy immediately!

I think there's more important questions!

UN-Soldiers get killed in North Afghanistan because an American burns the Qur'an

An angry mob of Afghans killed seven UN-Soldiers, because the radical american Priest Terry Jones burned the Qur'an, the holy text of Islam. Reports claim that hundreds, maybe even thousand angry protesters attacked the UN-Building in Masar-i-Scharif, killing 7 Soldiers, some of them being lynched and beheaded, and set the building on fire. About 5 of the protesters were killed in the Process. Meanwhile, Terry Jones asks why he should take the blame.
Terry Jones on his "Burn a Koran Day"

So, whose fault is it? Should Mr. Jones have shut his mouth, before knowingly provocing an entire religion and basicly inciting people to hate Muslims?
Or is it the fault of radical Islamists in Afghanistan, who are just wating for a reason to kill more "Infidels" and will use anything like Mr. Jones campaign as propaganda to spur the Afghan people for their Purposes?

Auto-Placebo?!

Today, I had a wonderful day, mainly because of one reason: the entire day I have been thinking that it was Wednesday, I literally forgot every memory of Monday. A few hours ago, I found out that it was Thursday, and now I'm freaking happy about skipping an entire day of boringness and getting Friday instead, cos', ya know, you gotta get down on Friday!! (ugh...my brain is infested with Rebecca Black Dx)
So, after I got this out of my System, has something like this ever happened to you? Like, your brain rewarding you by making you forget something like a sandwich and then making you find it again, while you think "Yay, free Sandwich!"?
Feels great :D

The End of the Civilised World

I like to think about this topic. Sure, it has been subject to many movies, for example The Omega Man, I am Hero or the Zombie series. It's just awesome to think about having the entire world for yourself. Lately, i've met more and more people thinking of the end of the World (2012, wooooooo!!), but how will the End come?
Maybe it will be World War 3, ending humanity's existence with nuclear weapons. (I always have to think of a quote from Einstein when thinking about this: "I don't know what kind of weapons will be used in WW3, but in WW4 it will be sticks and stones.")
Maybe something from Space will hit us, like a Comet or an Asteroid, or maybe a Giant chunk of frozen Hydrogen will fly into the sun, resulting in a huge Explosion.
But I especially like the thought of being the only one left on Earth, like if you're the only one immune to a deadly Virus. Imagine all the stuff you could do! Go drive a Ferrari, eat at fancy restaurants, burn money, burn something else, do whatever you like.
But you would also have to learn the basics again. You would have to learn hunting, crafting, building or, in short, surviving.

Or, you could just go play Minecraft :)

Sacrifice Human Life for the greater Good?

25 Years ago, reactor number 4 at Chernobyl Power Plant exploded, leaving the world in terror. The burning reactor emitted a radioactive cloud, threatening to contaminate all of Europe. This was when the Soviet Union decided to send approximately 800,000 men to the site of the event, the so called Liquidators. They were ordered to remove contaminated objects, such as parts of the actual reactor or contaminated animals, they had to extinguish the fire and they were also the ones who erected the concrete sarcophagus around the reactor. It is clear that without the liquidators, Europe would have suffered a much worse fate from the Chernobyl catastrophy. Also, it is estimated that about 50,000 of them have died in consequence due to their exposure to radioactivity, many more suffer because of other diseases that are a direct effect of radioactivity.
Dog from Chernobyl with mutations due to Radioactivity
Today, in Fukushima, we face a new difficulty: Japan is not a totalitarian state. They can't force their soldiers to go sacrifice themselves. At the moment, there are 50 workers at Fukushima trying to prevent the maximum credible accident, but as we saw from Chernobyl, it takes many more than just 50. Alone, they can't save Fukushima, and if they do, it'll be pure luck.
So what should Japan do now?
What should any liberal democracy do in case of a nuclear meltdown?

Mary Jane - what did she do?

Why is weed illegal? Seriously, why?
And I don't just ask this because i like to light a bud, it is because I really want to know why our governments still insist on giving plant-owners jail time. I mean, how ridiculous is the fact, that some people have to sit years in Jail for the possession of a plant, while a child molester gets a shorter sentence? And its not even like its a dangerous drug, until now, there hasn't been a single reported death due to a THC-Overdose.
Seriously, this f*ckin grinds my gears.
Watch out Kids, this is dangerous!!!
In my Opinion even Alcohol is more dangerous than weed.
Like, have you ever been threatened by a group of high teenagers? What, will they, like, slowly beat you up and then start spacing out while they're at it?
Or have you heard of Hobo's getting AIDS because they shared their infected THC-Needles?
Or maybe Subway will possess World Domination because everyone suddenly starts eating there.

Actually, in Holland, where Marijuana is decriminalised and you can actually buy it in so-called Coffee-Shops, the teenagers are less tempted to smoke than, for example, in Germany.
This just doesn't make any Sense to me. It's just a frickin' PLANT!

Behind the Moon

See this Picture? This is the Hubble Ultra-Deep Field, a picture taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. What you can see in the Picture are Galaxies, approximately from a time shortly after the Big Bang, 13 billion years ago. This is the deepest look humanity has ever taken into the Universe. The size of this Picture from our perspective is equal to roughly one thirteen-millionth of the total area of the sky. Each of these Galacies contain billions of stars by themselves again.

The sheer immensity of this gives me the chills.

Euthanasia - Yes or No?

...this is a difficult topic. So...I'll just start with how i got confronted with this in the first place...
About half a year ago I made an internship in an Intensive Care Home for old people with Alzheimer's and all other kinds of (mostly lethal) diseases. I never had any experience with any people older than 60 years (My Grandparents died quite young), so I was completely new to the entire topic. Needless to say, I was completely terrified. 20 old people, most of them uncapable of doing anything more than moaning. I felt helpless, I tried everything i could, with no results. It may sound harsh, but that was when i first started thinking about Euthanasia. Strangely, before my internship I was totally pro-life. I never thought that it could be possible that being dead is better than living. After this, to be honest, I don't think its a bad idea to end someones life if it only consists of suffering and disorientation.
 Should we pull the Plug?
But, as always, there are problems with Euthanasia, first off, I want to mention the Euthanasia-Campaign in the Third Reich, systematically killing off everyone seen as a 'Racial Hazard' or 'Race Desecrator of Aryans' in the Nazi-Ideology. That might be what People automatically think of when they hear of Euthanasia.
Also, there has been a Complex of Problems with Coma-Patients. What, if they are still awake inside and listen to their relatives wanting to end their lives? Creepy thoughts.
After all, I think we should find a reasonable balance. I'm not generally against keeping People alive for years, but if there is hardly to none brain-activity we should pull the plug. People just have to learn that life is finite. No one lives for ever. We just finally have to accept this and learn to part from our beloved ones if there is no other way.

How does the thought of a Creator fit into our highly-technologised society?

After growing up in a Protestant home but having never believed in a God as he is characterized in the Bible, I keep catching myself doubting whether we need a "God" in a modern society. Surely, a thousand years ago, people needed Religion, for it provided social legislation and moral values. Of Course, nowadays we need those things too, but i dont think that raging atheists will start burning people as soon as we stop going to church. We have Statute Books and Constitutions to make sure that people behave the right way today. But, without religion, some questions are left, such as: Who or what created us? Is there life after death? Is there an Intention in our existance?

Personally, I'm not sure about this matter. I do not know whether there is a Creator or not. In the Case that there is one, I doubt that we could ever understand it, or that "it" would be the same God we know from the Bible; it propably doesn't even care about us. If there is no Creator, we are a bunch of unimportant mammals floating on a rock through space, unlikely to ever do or find something really crucial.
On the subject of Life after Death, there are a lot of reports of people who have nearly died and all had Visions of heaven-like Creatures and total happiness. Again, I do not know whether they really were on the step to a new form of existance, or if it just was a backlash by the Brain, trying to ease itself from the total certainty of Death.
So... do we have a Purpose in this world?

I think we do. And I also think that it has nothing to do with our Creator or where we come from. And that is the message i want to get across: Before we start blowing our own Horn about how awesome we are or start wondering about unimportant stuff like what happens after death, maybe we should think about what happens before that; we should finally change something about us. There is no difference between us and the people 2000 years ago: We still hate each other because of our skin's colour, People still kill each other, steal, rape and wage war.
So if you need a rolemodel like a "loving, almighty God that always watches you" to do that, then go and pray, but don't try to shove it down other People's throats.
Everyone should have his own choice whether he wants to believe, and in what, or not.

War in Lybia - Freedom for Lybia or Crusade for Oil?

It's all over the News at the moment - the United Nations attack Lybian Troops in an attempt to protect revolutionists from their own Army. It seems like a noble deed to protect the military inferior-equipped revolutionists from al Gaddafi's Fighter Jets - but in my opinion this sounds a lot like another military operation that had its 8th anniversary two days ago: Operation Iraqi Freedom. Back then, the USA attacked Iraq in order to dispossess Saddam Hussein who was supposed to be in possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction, which turned out to be false. Anyways, i fear that Lybia might turn into a new Iraq, even now some say that the UN only erected the no-fly zone to take control over Lybia and its Oil resources. Also, Lybia is way richer and has better military equipment than Iraq back then. Ironic is, that Lybia bought High-Tech German warfare equipment, which can get more than dangerous even to American equipment.

A jet shot down over Bengasi
But, still, in my opinion it is right to fight Muammar al Gaddafi! What would have happened if nobody stopped Hitler from waging war on his own and other peoples of europe?
Ordering your military to kill your own People is wrong. A good Leader has to know when he has to go. And if he doesn't go, we will force him to.

Is Nuclear Energy dangerous?

Recently, due to the catastrophic events in Fukushima, Japan, I came to think whether nuclear energy is safe enough for us to take advantage of it. As seen in Chernobyl, the worst-case scenario of a meltdown can destroy the entire environment near a power-plant, contaminating it for years to come. But, sadly, noone learned anything, and now even countries like India and China with high corruption-rates and low security-standards build nuclear power plants.

Which leads to other Questions: Are there alternatives? Is green Energy worth the effort?
Can a highly industrialised Nation relinquish Nuclear Energy and adapt itself to a more ecologic Power-Source?
In my Opinion, Yes. Even if Officials say that their Power Plants are 99.99% safe, in my Opinion we shouldn't wait for Doomsday and start thinking for ourselves. Because i do not want to be the one to explain to his child, that it has a missing pancreas because it "was good for the economy".
