So, turned out that I currently suffer from having a cystitis - or, in other words, pissing hurts.
After taking a sh*tload of antibiotics I still wasn't able to get rid of it - and just today my doctor advised me another form of treatment - integral medicine. I'm supposed to take 3 pills everyday and drink lots and lots of tea and water... But I'm still kinda confused. How come Antibiotics didn't help and these little wonder-pills are supposed to get me out of my misery in just 4 days?
I haven't got any experience with integral medicine, I just know enough of it to be aware that modern studies do not really show that those things really do help. So what do you guys think?
Should I close the deal and just take the damn things?
Looking the other way, I have nothing to lose - so why not?
Anyways, in a week or so I'll write another post to tell you guys whether it did help or not.
So stay tuned!
Flip a coin.
ReplyDeleteWeigh the ratio of the pain to the risk of the treatment.
ReplyDeleteI think if you're in that much pain, you should take whatever steps you can to relieve it, even if it turns out to be bogus. Most integral medicine, to the best of my knowledge, works via the placebo effect. You think it will make you better, and it does. Or you just think it has when your insides are dying.
ReplyDeletetough question. good luck and folowing+
ReplyDeleteSorry brub, can't help with this one, ain't never heard the term integral medicine. Can only wish you luck with your owie pee.
ReplyDeleteJust do it man, I mean, what do you have to loose? I doubt they'll kill you
ReplyDeletePersonally, I like taking risks, but then again do you want to F around with your health?
ReplyDeleteDamn that sounds like a lot of pain :(
ReplyDeleteI'd just do what the doctor says man.
Unless you believe that the medicine will hurt you or cost you way too much, you got nothing to lose.
ReplyDeleteThink about the negatives and positives and do the math.
Having a cystitis don't seem so pleasant..
I hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteOuch sounds nasty, hope it feels better soon.
